Camp Discovery
Rising 1st-5th Grade

Get ready for an unforgettable summer adventure at HPNC’s Camp Discovery program! Designed for rising 1st-5th graders, this extraordinary camp is packed with thrilling experiences and boundless fun. Each week, your child will dive into exploration-based learning, take part in adventurous field trips, and enjoy hands-on activities that ignite curiosity and creativity. Campers will make a splash with swim instruction, unleash their inner artist in dynamic arts & crafts sessions, and build confidence through exciting sports instruction. They’ll also discover the importance of wellness and nutrition, while fostering friendships and teamwork with interactive team-building activities. Outdoor Explorers Camp
Rising 6th - 8th Grade

Designed for rising 6th-8th graders who thrive in the great outdoors, this camp offers an exhilarating opportunity to discover, connect with, and fall in love with nature. Completely set in the natural world, Outdoor Explorers Camp immerses campers in thrilling hikes, exciting weekly exploration trips to local parks and natural areas, and hands-on activities that build confidence and essential outdoor skills. Counselors in Training (C.I.T.)
Rising 9th - 10th Grade

Calling all rising 9th and 10th graders! If you’re ready to level up your summer and make a real impact, our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is your ultimate adventure. As a C.I.T, you’ll take on the exciting role of a junior staff member, working hands-on in a summer classroom to assist group leaders and support younger campers. But that’s not all—this program is packed with exclusive workshops where you’ll learn the ins and outs of working with kids, leading activities, and building essential leadership skills.
You’ll sharpen your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, all while having fun and connecting with new friends. Plus, this is your chance to jump-start your journey toward becoming a camp counselor with HPNC through our participant-to-staff pathway—setting you up for future success! An access pass is not required to register/apply to be a Counselor in Training, however, if selected for one of the positions, a purchase of a youth or family access pass will be required.

​This program is application based, and campers will be chosen through an interview process. The application is a part of the registration form. Please ensure that every field of the participant's form is completed.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be rising 9th and 10th graders.

Applicants must be registered by April 30, 2025 to be considered.

Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation written by a teacher, pastor, scout leader, or other non-relative.

Applicant must participate in an interview after application has been received (parent/guardian are welcome to attend interview).

Applicant must have a strong desire to work with kids
