Summer Camp

Our Camp

HPNC offers a full-day summer camp filled with a large variety of activities, athletics, adventure, and friendship that engage the whole child. We emphasize physical exercise through organized sports (soccer, basketball, gymnastics), outdoor play, and swimming (swim lessons once a week @ University of Chicago’s Ratner Pool are included). We walk whenever possible: to the beach, to the pool, to our local parks, library and museums.

We focus the kids’ attention on healthy nutrition and their environment through cooking and gardening and foster their engagement with the city through weekly field trips. We emphasize inclusiveness and attract a diverse set of kids from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. At HPNC’s summer camp, kids are nurtured, engaged, active and make friends with children they may not otherwise meet.

What will my child do during summer camp?
