Marsha’s Music

Located in Chicago, Illinois, Marsha’s Music has been serving the local community for 15 years! The focus is to bring the joy of family music making to all children birth through age five in our Music Together program, and the adults who love them.  The fun and learning continues for children five to seven years old in our Music Together Big Kids program.

Marsha Melsheimer is a registered Certification Level I Music Together teacher and has been the licensed director of Marsha’s Music since January 2001. Since then, Marsha’s Music has grown to offer classes at three locations throughout Chicago.  The staff of wonderful teachers make music with over 200 families every session in our parent-child mixed age classes and has had the privilege of bringing the joy of family music to over 5,000 families in the Chicago area.

Hyde Park School of Dance

Hyde Park School of Dance offers dance classes for students of all ages.  The School’s First Steps program introduces movement and dance to our youngest dancers (and their caregivers), starting at 18 months.  For slightly older students, we offer Creative Movement, Boys Dance, Ballet, Modern, and Jazz/Hip Hop.  Our curriculum includes exposure to choreography and free performance opportunities.  The School is a not-for-profit organization, and is proud to offer a needs-based scholarship program to encourage and foster a love of dance, regardless of financial means.  Learn more by calling 773-493-8498.
